Advanced Rogue Edges

Cost - 30 Karma per Edge

Each edge has a number of infamy points and prerequisite abilities that must be possessed to be able to use them. Unless otherwise stated all Advanced Rogue Edges are one use only per day. However they can be purchased more than once.

Torturer - Anyone has the ability to cause pain and anguish to a captive. However, this Advanced Rogue Edge allows the user to instil pain and suffering without the possibility of the subject dying from system shock. This Edge also guarantees truthful answers from a tortured subject unless they have the Advanced Rogue Edge, Guile of the Cornered Rat.

Guile of the Cornered Rat - This Advanced Rogue Edge allows your character to keep their wits about them and continue to act even while enduring serious mental and physical pain. It enables you to give false answers under torture and persevere with difficult tasks while under pressure or extremes of pain.

Sleight of Hand - When performing this Advanced Rogue Edge your character may call a single localised "time freeze" (no more than 10 sec) during a game of chance. In this short time you may affect the odds in your favour. Eg: turning a dice onto a better number, flipping a coin over or changing a card in your hand from the deck. This is a physical representation of your characters personal skill, so only your odds may be affected. You cannot look at your opponent's hand, swap their cards or alter their odds in any way. The only counter to this Edge is Call Out.

Call Out - This Edge allows the user to see when they or others are being fleeced. The character can use this Edge to expose a swindler in the act. If the Edge Sleight of Hand is being played you may call a localised "time in" at any point to reveal their deception.

Cosh - When employed this Edge enables the user to knock out one opponent without risk of any permanent damage.

Now you've made me mad! - This gives your character permanent total immunity to subdual damage and the Advanced Rogue Edge Cosh.

Silvertongue - This edge allows your character to make a deal more profitable. Through simple word play you can always lower the value of a purchase by half or raise the price of a fast sale or bargain by double the value. The Edge Call Out counters Silvertongue.
