Bearach is known to be at least 2500 years old, as that is when he came to the attention of the unseelie court, already a master huntsman, he was given the position of the Queen's personal huntsman and it fell to him to organise hunts for the queen and manage the animals of the land. Bearach proved himself honourable and fulfilled his position to the best of his capabilities, eventually being knighted by Queen Morgan and given several gifts. The first was a pair of magically changed beings, a cat and a dog, and these two remain with him to this day. The second gift was a magical item of the court, which it was his honour to guard it. Very few details of this are known, but what is certain is that the item went missing shortly before Bearach himself disappeared. This was some 800 years ago.

Now it appears Bearach has returned but although he aids those about him, he, for the time being, seems to be keeping somewhat aloof from the courts.
