The Brotherhood of Souls (also known as the Eternal Warriors) was originally created by the Alfar, the first true civilisation to arise on Faerie. The souls of the original 13 members of the Brotherhood are reborn into new bodies and re-awakened whenever a great peril threatens the Shards. The characters listed here are the most recent incarnations of the Brotherhood.

Fionn

The first of the Brotherhood, Fionn, like the others, has worn many names throughout the ages; Gilgamesh, Jason, Fionn mac Cumhal, Alexander, Arthur and Robin are a few of the more recent ones. He is driven in his quest to hunt down and slaughter those creatures that have taken the name Vampire. Unlike his other brothers though Fionn is never reborn, when Fionn is near death he is taken to The Cave of Crystals to sleep a deep sleep until his time is once more. It is rumoured that if Fionn was actually to die the cycle would be at an end and his brothers would never be reborn again. The only thing which distracts Fionn from his ultimate goal is his true love for the one thing he can never have.

William Kelly

Ex-sergeant of the 2nd & 9th Royal Artillery (dishonerable discharge), ex- U.K.A., ex-left eye, is currently relaxing in his new found status as a civillian - despite constant attempts by the Army to get him to re-join (as he says, twice is more than enough). Kelly has a realistic, if somewhat peasamistic, outlook on life - mainly due to having been-there-done-that many times previously.

As the saying goes 'hes on a mission' and come hell or high water, he intends to get it done - whatever the cost.

Queoshi Mitsurito Takahashi

Queoshi was the General of the Armies of the Court of Gold. As such he has fought the United Kings Army before, and lost nearly every major engagement. Leading over 75,000 men was something he was almost bred to do; he was trained from an early age in the martial arts, however recent events have changed both his outlook on life, and his inclinations.

Found by a small group of people led by Fionn, his membership of the Brotherhood of Souls was shown and his identity as Lancelot was revealed. As one might expect he tends to be found around Lou, and the other Brothers. He has a tentative relationship with Fionn, since he dislikes the fact that Fionn causes Lou pain everytime they are together. The fact that Fionn has seemingly never forgotten the pasts is not lost on Queoshi, although he himself remembers Camelot more readily.

Queoshi's age has not been revealed. One thing is certain however, he still loves Lou. Even though she is very young. When questionned about this he merely smiles, and tells you he sees something different. It is certainly true to say he loves Lou, and certainly in a different way to Fionn, and with his entire heart.

Queoshi has stayed away from the Army, not wishing to meet the friends of men he has led the Court of Gold's armies against, however he has always maintained his respect of the soldiers who he has fought, and has been heard to comment that if he could lead the Courts armies with half the men he has now met then the outcomes may have been entirely different.

Something of the honourable ronin samurai during his previous life, he was named 'The Shining One' by the inhabitants of the Courts of the Thunders.

His actions both in battle and away from the martial arena have meant his name is recognised by those in and from the Courts, and he has yet to find out if his change of direction has had any repercusions.

One thing is most certainly true, and that is where you see Lou you may have to look quite hard but you will also see Queoshi.

Witch-Smeller Raymond Thornheart

This filthy bundle of rags was once one of the Inquisition’s finest. Then something ... happened. Now barely capable of lucid speech, the Witch-Smeller retains his uncanny ability to root out evil in the name of the Lord. Recently identified by Fionn as being one of the Brotherhood of Souls.
