Legacy, 29-30 August 1814

Continuing immediately after the events in 'V' is for Vengeance, the combined shard of Union/Archipelago is now isolated from the other Shards. The clock is ticking as Paradox begins to build up due to the barrier and those stranded within find that as magic is used up it is not being replenished. Everything within the isolated Shard is becoming mundane...

Working with Loki, Ilona and Dr Goodfellow create a Keystone on which the barrier rests. Stranded Atlantean troops arrive and blame Loki for their isolation. Belkor sacrifices himself in battle, allowing Loki to make a getaway and draw the troops on a wild goose chase away from where they are working.

Ilona and Dr Goodfellow destroy the Keystone causing the barrier to come crashing down, while the Horologists buffer the effects of Paradox using the Everclock.

Reconnected to the rest of the Shards, those in the oasis learn the Monarchs have taken advantage of Paradox to move on the Water Margins in the Five Thunders.

The Navigators manage to make the oasis shift again, this time steering it so it arrives in the Five Thunders.
