Chimera Leisure 2006 Events

Prepare for war!!!

Shards LRP 2006 core events will focus on the final conflict with the Monarchs and their allies, bringing it to a climatic conclusion on Endgame, the August week long event. The out come of this final conflict is in the hands of all the player characters. If they defeat the Monarchs, the Shards will once again be free; if they fail, the Shards will fall completely under their dark reign...

You will make a difference!

Because of this, even we don’t know the outcome of the Endgame week long event; therefore we plan to set the next Shards story ark ten years after the final conflict with the Monarch’s. This means ten years will have passed (real game time) between the August and October 2006 Shards events. It will be up to you to decide either to play new characters or existing ones ten years older… either way we hope to resolve many personal plots between now and the end of August 2006 to leave way for the new challenges ahead.

In 2006, we will also be introducing a very special year long campaign which will be the prequel to the new main Shards story ark, once the Monarchs are either triumphant or defeated. Shards: Bloodlines will be a twelve player epic campaign and will introduce a new type of Karma, Bloodline Karma which will only be available on these events during the 2006 season. Places on these events are extremely limited so please contact us now if you want a place.

Also in 2006 we plan to run the next three instalments of Crimson Requiem, an event based on the Belgariad series of books and a Halloween Slasher event.

All in all 2006 looks like it will be a really great role playing year!

Until November 1st 2005 we are only selling places on our 2006 events via the block booking discount scheme. After that we will be selling places on

individual events, all places are on a first come first served basis.

Each year we offer a substantial discount to people who book the full year's core events in advance. In 2006 this is via our block booking discount.

For each block of events you sign up for, you gain a 5% discount off all the

events in that block, plus any other events you book. Hence:

1 Block = 5% Discount

2 Blocks = 10% Discount

3 Blocks = 15% Discount

Once you have qualified for a discount it will also apply to any other events we

run throughout the year.

Please e-mail us to inform us of which blocks you wish to book ASAP, as places

are booking up fast and are on a strictly first come first served basis.

Payment may be made up front in a lump sum, or monthly by standing order.

If you wish to pay up front please send a cheque made payable to "Shards LRP"
