Lucius Osborne, leader of the Silver Sabre Society, invites people to attend a gathering at the house of Arturo, on Salem.

Once there, he and the rest of the Society reveal a plan to go back in time, by 'killing' everyone thus freeing their spirit to travel to another time with minimum disruption to history. Once there, the plan is to hunt for objects which may be used to negate Paradox in the now.

The plan goes mostly as hoped, but Cooper, angry at the underhand methods used, attempts to kill Arturo. Arturo survives, but a samurai named Maruku is killed in the subsequent confrontation.

Meanwhile, history reshapes itself as the effects of Paradox are removed...
