Blue's childhood was not a happy one. Her father was an unseelie mage (half sylvan half human) who captured a young seelie dryad and used her to create a portal opener. Blue found out about her dryad mother too late to save her. Blue's father however met with an unfortunate end, which may or may not have been an accident. (I couldn't possibly comment.) Blue works mainly for the seelie court, but will open portals for others if favours or sparkly things are offered.
